how to get items from a mysql database and show in a listview?

I want to get data from my mysql database in cpanel.com and then get data of a table of my database and show in a listview. My Main Question : 1- How to get an item from a table? 2- How to Insert an item to my db.Table? 3- How to Update an item in my db.Table? 4- How to .............................? Please help me. Thanks alot.
